Always doing surprise Changes to its features and slow maintenance times, also don’t mention when they are gonna shove in last minute updates, poor app for the people who don’t have time to wait around for updates.

I successfully used Venmo for a number of months before they arbitrarily froze my account. The email I received required me to submit a copy of my driver’s license to show proof of identity and unfreeze my account (which was pending a transfer of over $900 to my bank account). I submitted the copy of my legal ID and two days later they sent me another generic email telling me I violated their User Terms of Agreement and my account was permanently deleted. No explanation of why and no way for me to obtain the funds that had been in process. Attempts to further follow up produced no results and I’ve now had to engage legal counsel to try to get the funds that are being held by Venmo. Beware using this app!!!!

The money/ banking part is great- finding people not so much.

Had $1580 transferred to me they canceled it and now nobody knows where the went !! BS !!

Early on it wasn’t super clear how to use it, and I was a bit taken aback by the ability to see other people’s payments. But, it’s really convenient.

The one time I need to instantly transfer money to my account and it says it can’t be done because of some bulls@$t update, the instant transfer was working flawlessly, but updates need to keep adding sh/$ until the app because crap

If youre looking for an app to use instant transfer I would highly suggest Cash app or Square Cash or Vemmo any day. Venmos instant transfer goes down atleast twice a week it seems.

Absolute trash. Forget about this app. Cash app is where its app. Venmo isn’t transferring money from my Venmo to my bank it’s not working now when I need it most. Unreliable. Unbelievable. Trash.

Can’t transfer my money so can’t use it.

So convenient! Have never had a problem and is so amazing if you have roommates and share food/expenses!!

An alternative to the username is the mobile phone number. We should be able to use it to find people since this is a mobile app

Fast service and very convenient if you need to send it immediately if their not near by...

I would not recommend Venmo to a friend!
