Venmo is chill

Easy to use..

Today I was venmo’d $300 which I NEEDED for today and then on the transfer screen was first notified that instant transfer was unavailable. Now that $300 sits in limbo and neither myself nor the sender can access it, and the Twitter support staff has told me I’m welcome to use the standard delivery option which really doesn’t help me given that it’s taken 3 days for that to hit my account in the past. I really would have appreciated being notified that this feature was down ahead of time so I could have planned or received money through another service, not just told on the transfer screen. People love Venmo because of how easy and instant it is and today that isn’t the case, I won’t be using this app anymore. I also sat on the support line for 15 minutes, and then when a support staff member answered the call, the call dropped a minute in and no one returned my call. Really really frustrated and disappointed.

Used it for awhile, then the app randomly took $120 out of my bank account and over drafted my account. I will be deleting my account and I would not recommend getting this app because it will take advantage of you.

My app won’t open. White screen. How did testers release this?

I love that I can shoot a request/reminder to my kids to pay for their insurance and cell phone bills and then turn around and shoot a payment off for rent, all in the same app. No arguing with my kids and bills paid equals happiness! Best part is I can transfer it instantly into my account! Big thumbs up all around!

Love Venmo! I just wish the money would show in my bank account automatically!

Everyone of my debit cards were not compatible or gave a message to contact customer support which should be available 24hrs because your dealing with people currency. As soon as I get my money off this app I’m deleting it. It’s not for all debit cards. You will not be able to transfer your money to your card.

This app is very intrusive. Every time you open the app it tries to get you to sync your contacts and connect with your Facebook friends. Also when making a payment or request you have to select private or everyone can see your business. This app is owned by PayPal which is a much better app to use - no invasion of privacy.

Get instant transfer working??? Not cool to disable it, I needed the money asap and now I have to wait for who knows. Would have been nice to receive a notice ahead of time.

No need to be tech savvy or even tech knowledgeable. Simple, fast and easy way to shoot my nieces some money. Beats driving to their bank or wiring it. Thank gawd!! You’ll be glad you signed up!!

I download the app to have instant transfers and spend less paying for that convenience. It worked great for awhile now it’s updating and that’s unavailable, which I find out AFTER have the money sent. There is the standard option but that pretty much defeats the purpose of this app, as I could have to gotten cash as it would have been faster or used Cash app. What a waste.

I am having so much trouble just getting email verified. I went on to the instant chat and instead of getting an instant message back I received an email from them, that I didn’t see because I wasn’t paying attention my email, while waiting for an instant message. I’m deleting the app once I get my money.

I updated the app yesterday and the landing page cannot be opened anymore. This is an iPhone7. All I can get now is a white empty page with nothing, no loading, no home page or password page, just nothing. Please fix this issue.

This app makes it so easy to support our grandchildren at school without having to mail a check etc. I love it.

If I could attach a photo I would, but when I attempted to immediately upload a payment to a debit card I got a message that said,"we are making a few changes to instant transfer. While we were working on it, you can use standard transfer option." That wasnt why I selected your service today, based on a customer recommendation. If youre in a crunch on a bill this isnt may not be a reliable fit.
