super easy to pay your friends and avoid having to split a check or find the nearest ATM. undoubtedly charging a kings ransom to pull money out. great to make you look more responsible than you really are and pay your friends before forgetting. Again!

Works without fail every time.

The app is simple to use and makes long-distance payments easy to send and receive. The only reason I dont give it 5-stars is that their is no way to choose whether the sender or receiver pays the fee (or ideally, it could be split). I understand why the fee exists, I just wish their were options for how it gets paid without an "awkward conversation" nor one of the parties feeling either cheap or cheated.

For those complaining about using this app to receive money from strangers, thats youre own fault. Venmo is great for payments between friends and family. If youre so concerned about secure payments, try PayPal instead. Venmo is quick and easy, great app.

Maximum convenience

Venmo makes it very easy to send and receive money. Severely dislike the public thread that shows what everyone is sending money for and who they are sending it to. Extraneous and intrusive.

This app is a great way to pay anyone! I use it with my family, friends, business associates, and roommates! It makes it so I do t have to write a check for my portion of rent or utilities. And when splitting the bill at a restaurant, we have this option now! So convenient and quicker than transferring between banks. Especially since most banks charge you a big fee for transferring to a bank other than your own (*cough* BofA).
