Instant Transfer is unreliable
Today I was venmo’d $300 which I NEEDED for today and then on the transfer screen was first notified that instant transfer was unavailable. Now that $300 sits in limbo and neither myself nor the sender can access it, and the Twitter support staff has told me I’m welcome to use the standard delivery option which really doesn’t help me given that it’s taken 3 days for that to hit my account in the past. I really would have appreciated being notified that this feature was down ahead of time so I could have planned or received money through another service, not just told on the transfer screen. People love Venmo because of how easy and instant it is and today that isn’t the case, I won’t be using this app anymore. I also sat on the support line for 15 minutes, and then when a support staff member answered the call, the call dropped a minute in and no one returned my call. Really really frustrated and disappointed.
