Where do I go to send money or pay. I had someone send me an invoice an hour ago and still hasn’t shown up

Love it??

Thought this was one of the most useful apps I’d ever downloaded, giving me the ability to get payments and then transfer instantly to my bank account. However it seems they have removed the ability to do instant transfers (without any notice) and now my money has been sitting in my Venmo account completely unusable for the entire weekend. Lesson learned, use one of the big boys like PayPal...

I was typing in “March” because I had multiple dates I needed to put in, and every time, it suggested I click March Madness which was maddening because that’s not what I wanted. It just wouldn’t go away.

I haven’t been able to use instant transfer for about 4 days and that’s the primary and only way I use this app to get paid for things I sell or request money from friends. I’ve been getting funds in it while my money is going down in my actual bank and i need these funds to be accessed immediately. If I can’t get my funds in even 1 day it’s a huge financial issue for me and having “maintenance” for over 4 days on a function people heavily rely on just shows how mediocre the developers and owners of this app can handle money transfer.

It’s been days the issue has still not resumed awesome I guess I’ll have to bum money from a friend on pay pal the sister company that card system does work and cannot intertwine services or transfer your money

Customer centric

The company disabled a major feature without informing their customers and with no ETA of when it would be restored (5 days later it still isn’t) At least tell your customers if you are disabling instant transfer. My cousin sent me money so I could go to urgent care. This wasn’t something I could wait three days to get the money for! Also my nieces account was hacked and they kept sending her in circles to get the issue resolved. A month later she still hasn’t been reimbursed her stolen money.

Keep up with modern technology and start running transactions on the XRP ledger

My buddies and I took a couple trips for spring break and we used Venmo to pay each other back what we owed. A few days later I get an email asking for ID verification in order for them to review my account which had been frozen. Once I did that, they emailed back saying they permanently deactivated my account for violating the TOA but would not be able To divulge the reasoning behind the deactivation. Leaving no number or email to respond in order to even attempt to dispute this decision. I have combed through the TOA and still do not understand why my account was deactivated and one of my friends still has their money frozen in their account with no way to access it. This is blasphemy and this is theft. Not surprised as to why other apps like CashApp and Zelle are surpassing them. Stay away.

Chatted with staff about why I couldn’t send money and all they told me was to try again later !!!

I’m not enjoying it but I’m also not not enjoying it. It does what I expect it to do. Thank you.

Venmo randomly stopped working, and said I had to remove the bank account I had been using for years and add it again. They required my bank accounts online user name and password, they have my phone number the bank uses to verify transactions, and can see my account balance. They have way too much of my information and Im sure somebody will find a way to steal it or misuse it. I like their service but do not trust them with that much personal information.

I recently had my account frozen with money in it. When I googled reviews for Venmo I found tons of reviews from other people upset about the same issue. I’m in the process of attempting to get my funds released but unfortunately I’m not very hopeful about that after reading the reviews of other people it happened to. Never trusting them again.
