New update is garbage. I don’t need the social media bs. I DONT NEED people to know what I’m doing! I JUST want to pay people. Can’t pay rent or connect to bank. It’s full of bugs. It gives you instructions on how to fix and then it’s back to not working.

Great way to share money

Wish I could schedule future payments, but otherwise does what I need.

I love the simplicity of it but I don’t need a notification every time a friend pays another friend back for Tacos. I would also like to see 2-factor authentication. Fix those 2 things and we are now at 5 stars.

I truly enjoy my options in getting paid and fast swift and convienent !!!

My settings are set to private and yet people outside of my transaction are able to see the transaction.

This app used to be great. I use it all the time. In the last 3 days I’ve had to delete and reads my bank information twice. This is a total pain. If it keeps happening I’ll stop using it.

Love it. Easy breezy.

It is definitely better than PayPal; the only problem I have with it is that I see a list of people, who I dont even know, along with their payments history: both payees and payors. Is that necessary? How about privacy?

This app is WAY too aggressive in trying to vacuum up my contacts: it asks me every single time I use the app if I want to allow access to my contacts.

Have set up 3 different ways to transfer money. Worked 2 times only and errors ever since. Can’t get a response back or ever any customer service to help. Horrible app. Finally got in touch with a representative and was told after 4 days of trying to just keep trying they are experiencing problems with a few users. Did nothing to try and help or resolve issue

In case you have money with Venmo please be aware this is not belongs to you and you funds are not secured for you. I had a fraud on my account and Venmo denied any responsibility. Be aware if you want to risk your own money.

An overall waste for merchants to accept since they apply an extra fee on top of merchant fees to accept the system. Offers no benefits and is quite annoying to use in all facets. Very disappointed

It’s not.

Doesn’t interact with PayPal but is run by PayPal. Makes no sense.

Simple fast easy and reliable

It’s been 2 weeks since the last time i’ve been able to send someone money. Once I contacted Venmo all customer service said was “we’re experiencing more declines than usual today” after that I just gave up.
