This is app is oerfect

I was out of the country and needed to get cash to a vendor for work. I was told Venmo is instant and that I could send the money to my manager and they would have access to it within 30min. My funds have now been locked in their system for a week now and they are unable to help or even tell my why.

Simplicity is not their specialty, taking your money and keeping it from you is. Use Apple Pay and save yourself the trouble.

Such an easy way to exchange money!

I made a payment to someone who no longer uses venmo and they will never be able to use that money. Venmo would not return the money to me without confirmation from the person I sent the money to even though I have no contact information for the person I sent the money to and venmo can’t contact him either yet they still will not refund my money

this new feature where you can do it to your card “instantly” with a charge of .25 is definitely not instant, it still took 2 days...?

I’ve used Venmo for years and I’ve transferred thousands of dollars to friends and family. I recently got my account frozen and suspended indefinitely, because I violated a “user agreement policy”. They did not disclose why it was suspended and when I asked why they said “we reserve the right to not disclose this info”. I understand user agreement policies, but for a user that’s been using this for years - why would you not notify them of this issue instead of arbitrarily suspending their account? This occurrence put a very sour taste in my mouth due to their lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and their inability to justify their actions. I cannot say I’d recommend this app for use.

Title says it all! It confirms my cc but wont confirm my bank. Sent one payment to my debit card, all others have "not worked."

Exchanging funds for personal or business purposes through Venmo is simple, convenient and expedient. Is there a way to transfer a specific value from Venmo to other accounts? If this step is available or simplified this app definitely has potential to earn 5 stars.

A friend of mine just got her account hacked. 500$. I’m withdrawing from Venmo. I hope you guys fix the issue soon.

What a great service. So easy to use.

Someone hacked my account and starting sending another unknown user money from my account balance. I noticed the first unknown transaction immediately and promptly tried to reach Venmo. It was past 5pm on a Friday so the 1800 support was unavailable until Monday at 8am... was directed to email so I emailed support@venmo and received a “we’ve received your email and will respond within 3 business days” reply. This same person did another transaction which emptied my account. There is ZERO support and you will eventually be hacked. I’ve used this app almost daily for 2 years with no issues and was a huge fan until someone stole my money and the company has yet to remedy. I called today and spoke to someone but still haven’t seen my returned.

This app is amazing because easy to connect

Straightforward and to the point. Give and receive in seconds. Transferring to primary bank account is just as simple too. Love it! Thanks for making life a bit easier! ??
