I’ve used Venmo for years and I’ve transferred thousands of dollars to friends and family. I recently got my account frozen and suspended indefinitely, because I violated a “user agreement policy”.
They did not disclose why it was suspended and when I asked why they said “we reserve the right to not disclose this info”. I understand user agreement policies, but for a user that’s been using this for years - why would you not notify them of this issue instead of arbitrarily suspending their account?
This occurrence put a very sour taste in my mouth due to their lack of professionalism, poor customer service, and their inability to justify their actions. I cannot say I’d recommend this app for use.
