the app itself is very slow (using an iphone 6, so not like it can’t handle most apps) and has incredibly annoying notifications that pop up anytime you pay someone or they pay you. like the idea of notifications, but they block out the entire upper section of the app and are so large that most of the time they block essential buttons and end up getting in way / accidentally getting clicked and taking you away from whatever you’re trying to do

Worst cash app you can download on the market. Overly complicated set up like a social app not a banking app. Don’t waist your time.

The freaking worst customer support. They are trying to save money, but I had a terrible experience and have closed my account in favor of some of the other apps that are out there (there are also plenty other apps that don’t steal all your contacts data and share your info without your consent). Lots of better and safer options out there with better customer experience that are also free.

Super easy to use. Don’t charge nor jips. Much appreciation.

Love Venmo. Supper intuitive. All my friends use it, so it creates a seamless option for transferring money in many aspects of life

Pay someone back but can’t receive same with debit card only account.

Love this app. I just need to be care when my friends have the same name. Its easier to tell your friend to request that you owe this especially when you pay them for the first time. Great app.

If you share a bank account with somebody, you can’t use Venmo to deposit money, it won’t allow it. This is very inconvenient to the customer. It has no problem you paying from your bank account (joint one), but you can’t use it to transfer your money back there.
