It is easy to pay and receive payment from anyone. And the best part is, it’s free of charge when linked to your account. Cash out is quick as it only takes a business days to hit your account.

Very helpful

Never had a transaction problem, and I use venmo for absolutely everything. Fast deposits into bank account and a great little calculator, this is a no brainer compared to Apple Pay, which only works with other Apple devices!

The app would be better if I could instantly transfer to my bank acct

This app keeps you from always having cash and or debit card on you at all times. Also, instead of saying “ I will pay you back !” You can settle the debt on the spot!

Froze my account with280$ in it and said theres nothing they can do. So now im out money

Sometimes its hard to search for the person

Not a big fan! They put money on hold and freeze your account if you do too many transactions in 72 hours! Froze my account when traveling and needed the funds! Would highly recommend Cash app instead! Thanks for nothing venmo

There are faster ways to receive money, like through banking apps, etc. it recently took 5 days for me to get my money. I could of walked to the person who owed me money, walked to their bank withdrew money & got it faster. Venmo has lost me as a customer. Step up your game Venmo, you have competition that’s much more expeditious at sending money. In addition your 9-5/M-F customer service hours are are useless, especially on weekends. And only receiving money on a business day? ... also useless. This is why I’ve deleted your app, do not recommend people use it & have found other more reliable ways of sending money seven days a week (regardless of a holiday) with 24 hour customer service. Hope you find away to catch up with your competition and survive.

This is the easiest app..love it

Very easy to use money transferred instantly. Much easier than writing a traditional check. I believe Venmo is also PayPal. I took away one star due to privacy. When you sign up it automatically uploads all of your contacts in your phone without warning. It also connects to social media like Facebook. Once youve registered you can change these privacy settings, so be aware to go to settings immediately if you dont want all of your contacts who use Venmo to see your transactions. Also for each transaction you can select if youd like your friends, the public to see Who youve paid, minus the amount. You can also set each transaction to private. Personally, I dont understand why its anyone elses business who you pay for what kind of service. Its a Bizzarre concept to me, but then I dont live my life through social media. I am only using Venmo as a form of payment, like cleaning services. Still, its easy to use and convenient. Just make sure to check Settings before you start transactions unless you want all of your friends, Family and coworkers to know what youre up to.

My friends money got stolen on this app. A ton of it and they are doing absolutely nothing at all to help her.
