I been using Venmo since before you were born. Srsly. I don’t even do yoga or drink kombucha. I use Venmo to pay for everything and it’s the OG zero charge app. Y’all musta been hemorrhaging capital when you started but clearly you have a business model that makes sense now. You forced PayPal and every other bank to start their own no charge transfer, but I stick with the OG. Keep it straight. Peace.

Venmo would be better if you could transfer cash from venmo directly into your bank account without having to wait a day

Live venom and transfers are quick. Like the fact that there’s a digital paper trail of payments. Great for shared bills and small business purchases

I tried to send a payment to a friend last night but the app gives me this message that my payment is under review and could take up to 48 hours to complete. I hit “cancel” and try again. Same deal. Only it turns out that the “cancel” I tapped only got me out of the warning message and not out of the payment so I ended up paying him twice. Because it’s the weekend I get to wait several days to see my money back in my account. It is entirely too easy to double pay—seriously bad design. Also, why is there no way to cancel a payment and why was my payment flagged for review?!? Was it because I used the word “Cuba” in the description? That’s the name of the restaurant we had dinner at. Can’t think of another possibility as I HAD plenty of money in my account. Very frustrated.

Easy and quick!

Fairly easy set up but amazing the default setting is to let everyone in the world know that you’re paying someone for something. Also rather intrusive that it picked all of my contacts and I believe added them. Could look at that as helpful also but out of all of my contacts I’d probably only ever pay 4-6. Nice app though and obviously widely used. I was amazed at the number of people I saw on there.

Really enjoy this app of convenience. Easy to pay and receive. Love it.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP IT IS HORRIBLE I ADDED THIS CAUSE MY FRIEND TOLD ME TO AND SOON AS HE SENT MONEY TO ME IT FROZE MY ACCOUNT THEN TOOK MY MONEY IT IS A SCAM APP !!!!

I love the convenience. I have a group of friends and do workers that all use the app and seldom have to add more money or take it out. Money just circulates, without having to worry about losing cash. I have had 0 issues using the app to date. Update - wow, other than a small delay waiting for banking deposits / withdrawals to appear to verify a new bank, updating all my info and revamping my security settings was a breeze. Nobody needs to see my payment history. Venmo has a button to make all your transactions private. Was also easily able to see all devices I signed in on and remove old and unwanted devices, and add a pin. Feel a bit more secure with my moneg. A+.
