My son is in college and I can send him money like BOOM!!! I love this app

Takes $500 transfer I got, won’t use 3 visas or 2 master cards from Green Dot bank, ADP, or their own PayPal!! They said to access my funds I had to tie a big bank?! The whole point of Venmo and these new age debit cards is to NOT have to use the scam that is the Con and stronghold of big banks. So now, to get my $500, I have to open a traditional bank account or transfer to someone who does. Meanwhile, they’ll hold onto MY money... Effin bs Can’t wait to delete this app and dissolve any tie to them. Lies, misleading, scam

Great except it shouldn’t default payments to public; this is easy to switch to private but it’d be stellar if it was automatically private and switch to public if wanted.

Im not sure why all the kids use this these days. Make sure not to pay by credit card or you get dinged 3% and cant reverse the transaction. I had a substantial credit in my Venmo account but it didnt use that up and then pay the rest with the card so I got hit with the 3% on the whole transaction. No warning or message or anything. Just notification of the fee after it had been charged and I cant do anything about it. Use a checking account if you use this app. Theres also an issue where there is no button to submit user input so youre stuck on a screen before final payment.

Much better than using Square! I like it and so do my clients.

Spent an hour trying to hook up to TD bank. To hell with this app.

I wish you would come up with debit cards just like PayPal or Square cash

Have fun waiting an eternity for your activation code if you ever get a new device. Four hours later my magic code is still lost in the ether. It’s more than worthless; I can’t access the stored value in my account. I’ve lost money on this service.
