It for some reason took forever to verify my bank information and I got really frustrated. But it’s honestly so amazing and so easy to use! If you don’t have cash, you will still likely have your phone and you don’t have to worry about remembering who you owe money to.

Terrible App!!

I detest the social media aspect of this app. I do not want to advertise who I’ve given money to, nor do I want to see who the people I’m friends with give money to. The only reason I use this app is because my children do not have any of the other apps that do the same service. I think I will stop using it and and plead with my children to stop using this app and switch to one that does not advertise who I’ve paid.

this is a scam and every review on here is FAKE. yes, this app works amazing if you’re only trying to send $20 to a friend / relative but if you try sending over $100 they FREEZE your account, then your next instinct is to call them, you call them and and then they say the department we want to speak to only accepts emails (in which takes DAYS if not MONTHS to reply back to) then you have to send a pic of your ID to their email , smh way too much to go through, people lost thousands or hundreds of dollars. this app is a huge scam, never will use. used it once and it froze my account and haven’t been on it since. you’re better off using square cash. i’ve used it since and i love it!!!!

Im american israeli and it doesnt work for me because it needs an american phone number for verification. Thats really stupid.

I hate the social media news feed feature. Pointless and noisy to me. App works fine in that the sending and receiving of money works, but the layout could be more intuitive. Basically everyone I work with uses this over the Cash app and I have no idea why.

Easy for small amounts but why make things public?

Everything you need is on this app. It’s nice and convenient when you are on the go and can’t access your computer.

I like the convenience but sooo often I search for a person and venmo can never find them. Then I resort to PayPal.

I use Venmo to take payments for private coaching and acting classes. I also use it to pay others. Love it!!!
