You guys are frequently better with $ transfers than my HUGE bank!

I will up my stars when instant transfers are back. That is the main reason I decided to utilize venmo. I liked the easy transferring of money instantly with just my debit card.

Use apple pay or anything else. There’s no privacy despite the privacy settings. Customer service doesn’t care at all when you contact them. I was harassed on here by a complete stranger. I had to contact customer service three times before finally asking them to just delete my account.

Instant transfers always down. And money is stuck in limbo for weeks

This app was cool at first... then I had a payment sent to me by a friend paying me back for basketball tickets...and Boom. All of a sudden my account was Frozen the day $1020 was supposed to hit my actual Checking Acct... I’ve sent several emails and messages and tried to call. They can’t do anything about it over phone. So 30 days later when a LOT of money was still owed they decided to Ban/Suspend my account permantely for doing absolutely nothing against policy, no violation, and NOTHING WRONG. If you want to ever have them scam/steal $1000+ from your Bank Account then definitely use this... if you want peace of Mind I suggest anything but Venmo (or PayPal since they own Venmo).

Service worked great for a week and then they decided to “fix some issues” and now it’s impossible to transfer $. Their customer service is run by someone who probably requires electricity and only uses 3 programmed statements. Venmo blows

This app is good for everybody. So so useful, helpful, quick, and easy to use. Thank you Venmo!

The app is declining all transfers even though I have the money. I contacted customer service twice and they have given no reason other than to use a different app. So there you go.

Can use a credit card as back up and add a small bank that isn’t one that is already listed:)

Go get Cash instead

Terrible app... it works great at times, but at other times it will no longer link your bank account. Then it’s a difficult process to remove the bank from your settings and re-add it. At times it still struggles to link with your account. I currently can’t even link my card for some reason... stick with google wallet for ease of use (and immediate payment, rather than dealing with venmo’s slow processing).

I love this app and now it’s not giving the option to receive the money instantly. When I try to do the 1-3 business day option it doesn’t allow me to sign into my bank account. Is this a known issue?

It’s taking forever for it to work

They removed automatic payments the day I signed up. I had received money and went to withdrawal and it wouldn’t work. I look up if Venmo is down, and nothing. I contact support to ask whats going on and they tell me that it’s “temporarily” down, but they have ABSOLUTELY no time frame of when it will be back. Before I could even ask another question, the agent says they will hang up, and does just that. The next chat agent gives me the same runaround, and cant tell me if there is even a chance it will be back up and running anytime before a standard deposit would get to my bank. All in all, Venmo is owned by PayPal, so you can expect nothing less of a cold, emotionless, robot team that only cares about THEIR money.

Never accepts my bank account for bank deposit either. So crazy.
