Be prepared to have to deal with issue via email. This low tech company has zero common sense and apparently no budget for customer service representatives. Use paypal. Is much more user friendly, you can actually speak to a real person, and they have a proven track record. Truly hope this company goes out of business.

Venmo makes transactions so easy!

I’d like it if the default/original set-up did not allow you to see everyone’s personal transactions, only the transactions that you initiated. It feels like an invasion of privacy.

Venmo is easy and quick. Hopefully banks stop the nonsense fees or they are going to be on the outside looking in.

Not a good use for app at all very complicated to use

0 out of 5 Just use PayPal or Cash. The headaches arent worth it for this useless app.

It takes a couple days for the payee to get their money, especially over the weekend. And I’d rather not let the money I pay people be treated like a social networking app. It’s stupid. But it works, they get their money.

I don’t use it often, but when I need to quickly transfer money to friends, it works perfectly.

Easy to use. No gimmicks. 24hrs to transfer into bank account. Faster and better than PayPal.

So far, this app is free and easy to use. I use it for work and exchanging money with my friends. I hate cash

Easy to set-up and use, trust worthy and convenient

Venmo decided to freeze my account without warning or explanation beyond “violation of the terms of the user agreement“. They refuse to specify exactly what terms were violated. Needless to say I’ll be using alternate means going forward.

Venmo makes handling money so easy. Just not having to write a check or getting cash saves time. Safer too less trips to the ATM or Bank!!!!

There is no way to turn it off or disconnect my contacts. I dont want to see it and I dont want them to see mine, though I understand I can make my own transactions private. There should be an option to not have a stupid "newsfeed" of peoples money business.
