Venmo App Reviews

Needs landscape support for, at the very least, iPads. Minor grievance, but also a minor effort to tackle by the dev team.

Hey guys, had 10 bucks simply disappear between leaving my friends device and before reaching mine the other week. Not a huge deal although on my connected phone I even received a text saying the 10 bucks was on my account but whatever. When I went to send venmo feedback from the app it sets you up with an email that literally can not be sent... the send button is simply faded and so any feedback you write is unsend-able. I would like to think this is merely an iPad bug but cant be sure. Fix this and get in touch with me Venmo and Id be happy to change my review.

No easier way to send money to friends and family.??

My daughter went to set this up for me when I was in California, I live in Michigan and this is so much easier sending money gifts to the grandchildren. Thank you Venmo

Although I understand your wording in the update description is meant to be harmless and cute/hip, but “Nothing to see here” is also a phrase people use when hiding something (think Wizard of Oz) and may not be in the best taste for an app that deals with peoples money. Great app though. Keep up the good work!

This app is so convenient! It’s so easy to work with and easy to transfer to bank, I recommend this app❤️

It is very easy to pay the wrong person by mistake. Venmo should have a policy where transactions can be canceled within the first 24 hours.

Keep trying to set up my bank account and when I go to confirm it will not let me click on an option. It then says oops something went wrong we’re looking into it........... great

Like the service, but why does every one needs to see my business or mine theirs????

I got a call from fraud services saying that Venmo tried charging 2,000 dollars which wasn’t from me and it was decline. I called and froze my bank account but they got 1,000 because they must have tried again before I froze it. No one has access to my bank but me. So no one I know “accidentally” withdrew 1-2,000 dollars. And of course they have no phone hours on the weekend. Absolutely ridiculous and unsafe. Will be telling all of my friends and family to delete the app.

It may take a while but it stops a headache

Need to allow savings accounts & business transactions. Need better app support.

The instant transfer feature charges the credit card a 3% transaction fee with a promise of funds delivered same day. It has been 3 days and the person I paid via Instant transfer has no sign of the money. Venmo has told us it is in a clearing house and will take yet another 1.5 days to transfer to the recipient. My credit card was charged instantly with the additional 3% fee and the money should be delivered by now. This is a scam.

I don’t know why Venmo requires my login info for my bank to work. Most other companies can work off of the account number and routing number. I do not trust them whatsoever. I also read articles where people can reverse payments made through Venmo, and large charges were made through their accounts. I strongly suggest that you Google Venmo reviews before going forward with this app.

Venmo is my favorite because you can have money just in Venmo. You dont need to take money out of your account every time. its super easy to use.
