Very fast and easy

Tried paying for an invoice sent to me. Wasted about 2 hrs trying to just send 1 pmt. Annoying that it wants to connect to your Facebook, contacts, & Siri. Managed to get around that with some maneuvering. Still couldn’t make pmt. & they wanted me to waste more time emailing them. I’ll mail a check or deposit it into the persons checking acct myself without paying a fee! Very sketchy & too much financial info.

I have tried adding a credit card three times. Use it all the time and the security code is correct. But it says it’s not. Then you add a bank account? Well I can verify it in 2 days... So much for instant and convenient. I’ll just stick with PayPal.

I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve used this app b/c I didn’t have the cash last minute to pay someone or I wanted to send money to someone that didn’t live close. You can use this app for so many things and if they need the money ASAP they only charge .25 cents. Or you can wait a day or two (max) and get the money transferred for FREE! Love Love Love this app!

This app has worked perfectly for me. It’s very simple and easy to use. I have no complaints

Default to private not public. $$ can be personal. I changed and looked again and it was still public. Come on man.

Why on earth would I want to share my financial transactions with the world? I do t get it.

I say scarily because I can see myself spending more money than I should. The app is user friendly and makes transactions run smooth. There is also a record of each payment so you can track everything.

I paid a friend a payment on accident & his account happened to he frozen. Because his account was frozen they would not allow him to send my $200 accidental payment back. Instead they are using my money to pay off the debt that he owes. So all of a sudden I am responsible for his debt. Totally screwed up policy. Now they have frozen my account because I contacted my back about the money they have stolen. This is their policy. Stupid.

It’s a little annoying to have to undo that option every time, but otherwise great app.

At least on the phone app the only way to link my bank was with my username and password of my bank. That gives Venmo, and whoever hacks it, complete access to my checking account and any associated account too. I changed my bank username and password to block access to Venmo. But of course now I can’t use Venmo. I have realized I don’t want to. Other systems only use your routing number. Also, until I figured it out and stopped it, the social notifications that other people have performed transfers to each other is creepy. I just joined yesterday and it went backwards and made me aware of all these people and their transactions. NO WAY. Venmo is not for me.

Quick and easy

Confusing and having a lot of difficulty adding/correcting my bank account. Even though I logged into my online banking and I know exactly my routing and account numbers- Venmo is not recognizing the combo. It’s not allowing me to fix it.

I am very unhappy with Venmos policies procedures. I set up my account put money in out of my bank account tried to transfer it to my daughter-in-law out of state and they froze my account for two weeks. Now Im fighting with them to unfreeze my account because of their procedures not anything I did wrong. I couldve sent money by check quicker than is taking them just figure out what the problem is!!
