I love Venmo, it’s so easy to use and pay shop small businesses from Instagram! I actually got Venmo because I had a PayPal account years ago and for some reason it wouldn’t let me get into my account because the information I once had has changed since then. Anyways, love using Venmo! Genius!

So easy to use

I have not had this problem not only once but twice! Whenever someone tries to send me a large sum of money, oh say, $800 for rent. Ok great! Got it! Now...as I try to transfer this money into my bank account I get an error message. So I am curious as to why the transfer wasn’t put through? I calmly just tell myself its a technical problem & I close the app & wait a few hours. I come back to the app & after it has been sitting for some time & open it up. Now I am cautious going into this so I say maybe it was my card. I remove my card then I try to add it back to my account. I then get a message saying my account is frozen! I am trying to pay for my living arrangements & you freeze my account without the rest of my RENT MONEY!? If I could take this app off the app store I would. I am disgusted.

We need privacy although they have millions reasons want to to that. App was good products and instant free pay others.

I have only used Venmo 2x but last night was notified of fraudulent activity. I am closing my account immediately

cool app but not all that intuitive. takes a full day to verify a bank accnt. and i had to go read reviews to find out that unless you make sure to set Private in settings or by transactions-all your contacts & Face Book contacts can see your transactions-WTH!! why would you want that?!! i mean if you are paying w a group of friends - fine for them to see but no need for ALL to see. Im surprised too since this is supposedly a PayPal owned app and i know Paypal has good privacy /security. i will only use this app to pay trusted friends/family/vendor.

The convenience is so great!!! I love that I can send Birthday cash to my kids that live out of state and they get it immediately. Transferring money for purchases or lunches. Everyone needs to sign up for it

I paid a vendor for a product and never received the product. Venmo claims they can’t retrieve stolen money. Excellent customer service. But terrible fine print agreements.

I love Venmo but it takes 2 or sometimes 3 days to transfer money to your bank account which is way too long.

Easiest way to pay someone. I haven’t requested any money as of yet but I’m sure it’s just as easy.

If I could give this app 0 stars I would. They montior accounts like they’re your parents. Will deactivate your account if you put something shady in the title of the money you’re sending. You have to be extremely cautious of the titles you put for each subject of money you’re sending otherwise they shut down your account. Dumbest app ever. I RECOMMEND CASH APP.
