This app is garbage. I can’t believe that there isn’t a way to cancel a payment. Give me a break, what a rip off.

Very nice app and easy to use. I use different accounts for business, personal, etc...so I just wish I didn’t have to go to the settings every time I want to switch bank accounts. Otherwise I’d give it 5 stars. I’m hoping the developers will consider making it more like PayPal so we can select the payment method on the go.

This app is a fantastic idea but in application it is terrible. Y girlfriend and I were using it to send each other funds because we were splitting a vacation and wow what a nightmare. First off there was no issue adding fund, transferring to Venmo, then transferring to an account. However, as soon as that happened the nightmare started. Venmo suspected it as fraud and held out fund for almost 3 weeks. When we talk to customer service they couldnt / wouldnt give us any info and then on top of it the issue was escalated to someone we couldnt call. All communication had to be done through email. It was the worst experience ever. I think this app is a great idea and I wouldve used it like crazy but never again. We used it once, got banned for life, and almost lost all our money. If you decide to use it anyway, just be aware that this could happen to you.

You need to find away to cancel transactions.

Thank goodness for Venmo! You can send money anytime to your family and friends with out giving up your person information. If your buddy forgot their card or cash when you all are going out on the town. You know they have their phone to Venmo. You can get the $ before you flip the bill. You’ll have a great time without wondering if you’ll ever see that $ again.

I was told by a friend to use this app, that it cost nothing to get paid and transfer to my bank. I received $24 and transferred to my bank account, this company charged me 4 charges 2 for Direct Deposits and 2 for Other Insurance/Financial all for $.92 or about 4%. This is certainly overcharging! I’ll be canceling if this is their normal protocol. ///Ted Alvarez

This app is so easy to use and makes exchanging money a breeze! I’ve started asking everyone “do you Venmo?”

I have a dire emergency and now I have to wait yet another day to verify my bank on top of however many days it will take to get the money transferred to my account. Asks for very sensitive information and then states that there is a problem verifying it, so you have to jump through even more hoops and do even more sensitive things!! Absolutely awful!!
