I can’t make Venmo hide my contacts or friends. Way too much “social” required to use this app. No thanks. This is also the first app I have seen with such bimodal ratings that it has no 3s. (This will likely change as the population increases.) People love it or hate it: either they find it super convenient (❤️), or they get defrauded or a bug causes them to lose money (?). I hate it but used it because my friends under 30 love it.

As a family law attorney who has had to deal with helping her clients transfer money back-and-forth as well as having to do so in my own divorce, this has been a little tricky to learn to use, but once learned, very easy and effective, while also protecting your personal information.

Easy to use, free what more would you want ??

Such a great, convenient vehicle to move ?.

You can’t use prepaid cards like GoBank that offer a “bank” or “vault” so that it basically IS like having a checking bank account. they provide you with a routing and account number, and so does my Bluebird card from AMEX, which is through Centurion Bank, and they won’t accept that information either. I don’t use normal banking institutions because of ridiculous fees and overdraft experiences, banks getting me more into more debt... this app is just stupid. If anyone can suggest an app that DOES accept these type of bank accounts, please lmk!!!

Venmo is such an easy way to share money! I use it for business, and personal transactions!

After spending so much money doing money transfers I can’t imagine going back. It’s so simple to set up the account and then from my phone in less than a minute the transfer is done. So simple and no charge. I love it.

The convenience of the app and ability to move money where it needs to go is awesome, hope the trust factor never changes!

We use Venmo a lot at work when ordering food. It is so nice to be able to pay someone right away and not have to always worry about cash or having the right change. And Venmo is WAY better than Sq. Cash!

So easy to use when my friends around the world need to send me money or the other way around

However, I do wonder about the security measures taken by Venmo so make sure no access to accounts is compromised.

I never have to worry about paying people back and vice versa, or having my kids pay me what they owe or me lending money. It’s so quick, easy and secure.
