Venmo App Reviews

The only reason there are 3 stars is because the app is good except for this recent update. The app refuses to open on the iPhone. Not sure if this is from the iOS update or the venmo update.

Simple. Intuitive. Useful. Delightful.

I use this app all the time with friends and family. Its very convenient and easy to use! I chose to give it 4 stars instead of 5 because it does take a couple days for the transaction to go through--but that might be something Venmo cannot control.

Never any bugs. Simple interface. And no fees like PayPal. Love this app for helping split bills with my roommate and all of types of expenditures with friends for travel, food/drinks, etc. One of my most used apps!

No more waiting in the drive in asking the fast food attendant for two orders or for waitress to split the bill.... Just use venmo

A friend recently suffered a huge loss using this app. He tried to transfer money to another friend, and as he was typing, Venmo autocompleted the name. It turns out while the @name appeared the same visually to him, the autocomplete actually had added an underscore at the end (aka @name_) that was NOT visible to him. The money, over $500 was transferred to a stranger. When he reached out to customer service they said there was nothing they could do - in spite of the display error The money had been taken from his bank account and was gone. This app should be reported to the Better Business Bureau for fraudulent practices. Im deleting my account and this app permanently.

Pay people easily and write inappropriate, funny reasons why.. Whats not to love?

The app is very easy to use and I make payments on it which far easier run other apps.

By far the easiest way to send payments to people. VERY simple to set up and connect with the people that you want to pay. I highly recommend this app.

I dont like the social aspect and it takes forever to get your money because of the whole micro-investment thing.
