Beware of username errors

A friend recently suffered a huge loss using this app. He tried to transfer money to another friend, and as he was typing, Venmo autocompleted the name. It turns out while the @name appeared the same visually to him, the autocomplete actually had added an underscore at the end (aka @name_) that was NOT visible to him. The money, over $500 was transferred to a stranger. When he reached out to customer service they said there was nothing they could do - in spite of the display error The money had been taken from his bank account and was gone. This app should be reported to the Better Business Bureau for fraudulent practices. Im deleting my account and this app permanently.
