People are using this service to scam ppl because after they pay you for food or services, they can claim dissatisfaction and Venmo will refund them and deduct from your account without any sort of investigation first. So scammers are using it to their advantage so seller beware.

There is really no better way of paying someone.

The best way to pay my sister for my phone without any fees!!!

I was unaware that it shows all your transactions to who are for what. It should ASK not assume! Other than that it’s pretty much PayPal but different.

Settings are a mess. They don’t save— wth??? That’s really a no go with financial stuff.

Wish i could select which bank card I want to pay someone with right from the pay button. Currently I have to go into settings then switch bank cards there. Then I go back into the pay menu. Should be able to switch between all bank cards registered with venmo right from the pay button.

The new update caused the app to crash on my phone. Now I cannot open it. I tried on my iPad but it asks me to enter a confirmation code sent to my phone. I cant. Guess why? Cause venmo changed the last digit of my phone number from a "5" to a "6" ... had it for years and never had this problem. So beware if your phone number gets gets changed.

Venmo seems to be an account where people gain easy access and steal your money. Smh

No more checks at the reseraunt or “Where’s my wallet?”

Makes splitting bills and loan and repaying super easy

I say scarily because I can see myself spending more money than I should. The app is user friendly and makes transactions run smooth. There is also a record of every payment so you can track everything.

For some reason, one of my payments was deemed suspicious and they locked my account. Good luck sorting it out. Really, this app may be fine to share a lunch bill with a friend, but do not count on it for something serious (like paying rent).

Never had an issue with Venmo and is a great way so secure transactions without stress.
