Functionally fine, experientially annoying

This app is fine for P2P (person-to-person) instant or near-instant money transfers. I have no qualms with its core functionality.

That said, I really do not care about what other people are using Venmo for, and could do without the “social” feeds. The fact that this is the default screen the app loads to just makes it more annoying. Since I know the app developers are too wedded to their dumb little twitter ripoff to do away with it, how about letting me set my own transaction roll as my default screen so I can be blissfully unaware of that social nonsense.

Really, I just wish I didn’t have to use it but have to because other people do. I’m ready to just stop using it altogether and force people to use MY preferred app for once, rather than me use theirs.
