From a great app to trash
I am from Puerto Rico, a US territory and we have the American Citizenship. Before I used Venmo to transfer money back and forth to my friends and family in the US. Yesterday I try to pass the money to the Bank account and I couldn’t, I contact the Venmo personal and they said:
“It appears as though you are located outside of the U.S. Unfortunately, Venmo is inaccessible anywhere outside of the U.S.
There are two main requirements for using Venmo:
1) You must be physically located in the United States
2) You must have a U.S. cell phone that can send/receive text messages (please note that this phone number can not be on file with another Venmo account.)
If you ever want to transfer money from your Venmo balance to your bank account (most users do), you need to add a U.S. bank account. If you want to make payments over your Venmo balance, youll need to add a U.S. bank account, credit card, or debit card.
Since you are not physically located in the U.S. at the moment, you will not be able to sign in to your account. However, once you are in the U.S., we will be happy to get you squared away!”
I’ll have to use another method ?
