Zero stars - they will hold your card hostage

Beware that even if you delete a bank card, it will still be on Venmo for an eternity unless you call them (sit on hold for an hour) and explicitly release your card & bank account from the app. This is not made clear. And if someone else should get ahold of your bank account or card you are screwed. They will not release it unless the person who set it up and calls and tells them to do so. And even if you do manage to get that person to do that, they STILL won’t do it. They told me they did and yet I can’t add my bank card because it’s linked to another account according to them. It’s an endless source of frustration for me and I will be switching to another app because they are needlessly complicated and their customer service is incredibly incompetent.
