Dislike the default makes your transactions public

Every time you make a payment, you have to remember to hit the public button to change it to private, otherwise each transaction becomes public.
You absolutely should be able to change the default to private instead of having to remember to change it with each transaction. Otherwise Venmo is a great vehicle to quickly pay or reimburse others. This is especially nice when multiple people are on one dinner check.
