Convenient for paying friends anywhere!

I’ve been using Venmo for a couple years now and it’s been consistently useful and convenient to use. It’s perfect for settling debts with other people or requesting payments for handmade/private items.

The instant debit transfers that users can apply for a small fee of 25¢ was a nice, recent addition to the app, making it easier for users who need their money transferred to their debit accounts ASAP.

The only negative aspect of the app I can recall would have to be the fact that a payment cannot be retracted once it’s sent. The only way to recover money sent to an incorrect user, for instance, would be for the incorrect user to send the money back on “good faith.” When I accidentally sent money to my sister’s old, inactive Venmo account (where she did not have access to that email), they only way to retrieve my sent money was to call Venmo support. To their credit, however, they helped me out very quickly and the money was back in my Venmo wallet by the end of that same day.

Overall, Venmo is a great application that makes a wide variety of situations way more convenient.
