Great, but bad privacy

The app works great. Easy to use and secure best I can tell.

But why is the default that all payments are public?? I see payments all the time from or to friends that I’m sure they have no idea that they are sharing with the world.

You can easily configure your payments to be private, but most people don’t. Defaults really matter and Venmo uses the wrong ones.
