NO BUYER/SELLER PROTECTION

I was tricked into using Venmo for a purchase online where the seller never sent the item, took my money, then blocked me. I contacted Venmo to report the incident and the agent I spoke with chuckled when I explained how I had been scammed. He then told me this would be sent to a different department and they would get back with me via email. I started doing my own research online and apparently Venmo does not offer Buyer/Seller Protection. Do yourself a favor and STICK TO PAYPAL!!!
